About Fulton County Criminal History

Fulton County criminal records are divided among the Sheriff, local courts, the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services, state corrections, and the New York State Sex Offender Registry. We built this private reference site to make those lines clear. Readers can identify the office, official search, address, or phone channel that matches the record they need without treating several different government files as one product.

Why We Built This Site

New York uses several separate record systems. Fulton County law enforcement creates incident and arrest reports, Fulton Corrections keeps local booking and custody data, and each court owns its filed charges and dispositions. DCJS maintains the fingerprint-linked state history, while OCA offers a public name and date-of-birth court search. DOCCS and the New York State Sex Offender Registry cover still other parts of the record. This site organizes official contacts, search channels, known fees, and request steps so the source matches the question.

What You Will Find Here

  • Record guides: ways to locate and read Fulton County criminal court case records
  • Official check steps: the difference between OCA's name search and a fingerprint-based DCJS Personal Record Review
  • Agency contacts: routes to the Sheriff, courts, jail, and statewide systems that hold Fulton County records
  • Sealing information: where New York record-sealing applications and follow-up requests belong

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site, with no connection to a New York court, sheriff, police department, or state agency. Its role has firm limits:

  • We do not retrieve criminal records or conduct official checks
  • We cannot submit FOIL requests, sealing papers, or other filings for a visitor
  • We do not issue certified court records, agency reports, or DCJS rap sheets
  • We cannot advise anyone about a charge, warrant, case, or sealing request
  • We cannot promise that an agency's address, fee, or phone number has not changed

An official copy must come from its custodian, such as the Sheriff, the proper court, DCJS, or another government office. This site only identifies that source.

Search Partners

Search boxes on some pages are supplied by third-party providers. Each provider operates its own service, controls its prices, and is responsible for its results. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports this free reference resource. We do not set those charges or decide what a partner returns.
